Adams Family Photo Shoot

Our dear friend, Brein, is an incredible photographer. I have been wanting her to do our family photo's for quite sometime, but wanted to wait until Peanut was close to his second birthday. We always do family pictures around his birthday and I thought she would be the perfect one to do it this year.

After much thought and many different ideas, I decided I wanted to do it by water.

I then decided, I wanted it to be sunset.

Last but not least, casual....denim and white would work perfect!

Brein started with having us just play by the water with Carter.

Carter LOVED being by the water...

Especially throwing rocks in with his dad!!!

We then each got some extra loves from our little man...

We love our "Little Man's" kisses!

It was then time to take a stroll along the beach...

I love walking in the sand...

And having my little man and Fuzz next to me, made it even better!

We then got some extra pics of just Peanut!

Last but not least, we made sure we had our family pictures together...

Posing...

Smiling...

Living the Life...

And loving our dream!

Brein, thank you for capturing this time in our life! We LOVE what you did!

For the rest of you, go check out her website at www.aerodaisy.com and think about using her next time you need a photographer!

Carter's Birthday

This past weekend was, "Carter's birtday!" We really pushed that it was going to be, is, and was his birthday, and he caught on pretty quick. He was able to say, "Carter's birtday" for several days. I actually think he caught on to what was happening, and now when he's asked how old he is, he will say "Two!!!"

Friday night we headed north to Logan. By the time we got there it was pretty close to Peanut's bed time. Dustin and I got in the hot-tub and then called it a night.

Saturday Doug and Jameson joined our family for some boating. Brein stayed home with her baby girl who was home with an ear infection, poor baby! The water was perfect and the 3 boys loved the tube. J-man got on the tube all by himself and did great! We were all so proud of him!!! Dustin had a great fall, and Doug had the coolest ride any of us had seen on a tube, ever! As for me, I took a dip into the refreshing water and then I sat on the boat and soaked up the rays.

After boating, we went back to the in-laws for some swimming and dinner. Once we completed those small tasks, we were off to Hyrum Dam for our family photo shoot. Doug took his children on another boat ride, then we all headed to Angies for an ice-cream treat.

Sunday morning we hurried down to Salt Lake City, and got last minute items for the birthday party.

Come 2 o'clock the guests began arriving and by 2:30, about 65 people had arrived to share and celebrate our little man! Many took rides down the slide, enjoyed the water balloons, and appreciated one anothers' company.

We then gathered around to sing "happy birthday" to our Little Man. He blew out the candle, all by himself, and was super excited. (There really was no help!) Everyone then enjoyed ice-cream and cake and headed back outside.

It was time to open presents, and Carter was spoiled! Thank you all for his gifts! From clothes,to basketball hoops, to a fish he named Dorothy! He loved every car, bike, scooter, helmet, toy, and ball he was given! He truly is so loved and we are so grateful for all who celebrate him with us!

After thank you's and I love you's were given a good part of the crowd left and went on with their day. The rest of us bbq'd some dinner, continued to play with water and the slide, and hang out until 10! It was a great time together enjoying the summer weather.

Monday was his actual birthday! We had BIG plans to go to the zoo, and the park, and picnic, but when push came to shove, we were exhausted. We were so worn out from such a great weekend,we spent the day coasting. That evening Dustin and I went with out Little Man to Red Robin for a birthday dinner. We then went to Uncle Nathan's for some karaoke-ing and called it a night.

Thank you again to each of you who celebrated Carter's Birthday with us! It means so much to know how much love there is for our Little Man. We are one lucky family!
