Last night, at 5:15, my Mom, Stac, Kel, and I went to the premier of "ECLIPSE!" First of all, I must start by saying this, IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!
Stacy had ordered team Edward and TEAM JACOB cupcakes. They were absolutely delightful, after the viewing of the AMAZING movie! The white sparkling ones are for team Edward, and the chocolate ones are for TEAM JACOB!!!
Me devouring my TEAM JACOB cupcake!
The movie was SO good, and I loved being there with the girls! We had so much fun being at the premier and these types of movies are a lot of fun to go to the premiers because of the audiences reactions. There is hooting, hollering, laughing, and a crowd having SO much fun! Us girls, after the movie!
Last but not least, in case you haven't noticed, I am 100% a TEAM JACOB fan! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!!! I think he is so good looking and I love how he is with Bella. I do KNOW he is fictional, but I really enjoy his character...he wins my heart!
With looks like that...how can you not be a TEAM JACOB FAN!!!
Well, now we anxiously await the premier of BREAKING DAWN!

An Afternoon In The Canyon
Saturday afternoon, Dustin, Carter, and I, headed North to join the Beazer clan for a picnic in the mountains. We met at their house and then headed to the store for groceries. We decided to keep it simple and went with hot dogs, potato chips, and s'mores. Perfect for a cook out.
We headed into Mantua and then took a few dirt roads up the hill. We were headed toward Willard Peak, but I don't know if we ever got there. We drove up the dirt road for quite awhile and decided to just stop after we found a campground. The drive had been a little windy and I was feeling a little car sick.
Jameson picking flowers off the side of the road.

We unloaded the cars, setup camp, and enjoyed the sun for a few. Eventually Doug and Dustin got the campfire going, and we were able to start feeding little ones. The afternoon was beautiful and the company perfect!

However, as evening approached so did the bugs...so we quickly packed up and called it an evening in the canyon. It was only about 8:30 by the time we got out of the canyon and we weren't ready to call it a night. So, we went back to the Beazer home and hung out for a few more hours.
Brein and I went across the street and enjoyed a cocktail, while the boys sat home and chatted. We then went back and joined in on the conversation. We read Angel Cards, which I found extremely fascinating and anxious to see if anything comes out of the readings.
It had been awhile since we had hung out with the Beazer's, so it was nice to spend sometime together! We are hoping for more gatherings soon!

A Much Needed Outting With Buppy!
A week ago Dustin was finally scheduled for a day off. So, we had lunch with his parents to celebrate Father's Day, then I was lucky enough to pawn Carter off on my mother-in-law so I could take my husband on a date. We both were looking forward to the time together, and excited for dinner at Cheesecake Factory. My cell phone rang and it was Nathan asking if I wanted to go to Alpine Canyon with him for the afternoon. I happily declined and kept planning...maybe we would add a movie at Brewvies. Then Dustin's cell phone rang...Todd Work...I knew what was coming...Date night cancelled...Dustin called into work...Wifey completely bummed!
So, I called Nathan back, asked him if I could still join him and when he said yes, I said give me thirty minutes. I ran home, grabbed my camera, some CD's and headed to Nathan's. We got in his suburban and headed south-east.
We found a couple of CD's I had burned for Nathan, back in 98-99, so we popped those in and enjoyed some great music and flashed back a million memories. Nathan and I have been friends for close to 20 years now and my entire life has him in it. So, when we listen to music and one of us has a memory linked to it, chances are...the other does too.
We talked about a new girl he is seeing, friends, family, life, the past, the future, and everything in between. It was EXACTLY what we needed; we hadn't spent an afternoon together, just the two of us, in years.
We eventually made it to our destination where we got out and walked around. We then ended going up and down some hills to get back and forth to the water. I wasn't exactly in hiking shoes...which did make things a little more difficult!
Anyway, we probably spent a couple hours wandering around... and then headed further up the mountain. We only stayed long enough to grab a few pictures and then headed back down. We had a great afternoon then came home, went to dinner, then got in the hot-tub with a margarita. We had a really nice time just being Lin and Nathan!

Audra Lynn Turned One
While in Bear Lake, my niece turned one year old. However, due to the fact my brother-in-law wasn't there, we did not do much celebrating on her actual birthday. We celebrated on Saturday, with a get together to celebrate my beautiful niece. The Birthday Girl...Audi-Lou-Who

A Week In Bear Lake
During June 11-18, my Aunt Tammy had a condo in Bear Lake, unfortunately, she was not able to use it. Fortunately, for us, she offered it to us. I thankfully accepted and prepared to start my summer off right, a week at the lake.
I arrived Friday afternoon, and it was just me and Peanut. We unloaded the car, made dinner, and spent a couple hours unwinding before we headed for bed. The weather was cold so we just kind of unwound.
Saturday morning I made Carter and myself breakfast and hung out. At about noon, my darling husband arrived and we got to spend the afternoon as a family. It continued to rain all day and was cold so we hung out in doors. We watched some movies, I read a book, and then made dinner. By the end of the night, I had major cabin fever so we headed out and drove around the lake. I had no idea just how big the lake was, but we really had a good time just driving around it and being outdoors. It was beautiful.
Sunday, the weather continued to be crummy. That afternoon we finally decided to go to the pool and spend sometime outside. The weather was mild, not warm necessarily, but the temperature in the pool made it manageable. I had an amazing floatie, and so did Carter. We had a ton of fun and Carter loved playing.
Sunday night Dustin text me a picture and note that said here is our adventure for tomorrow. This is what it was!
So...Monday morning we headed into town for coffee, and to the KOA to rent our bike. It was so much fun for a family adventure. Dustin was hilarious with his comments, and we rode the bike for an hour, and went an awesome five miles. It was so fun and for the first time during the trip the weather was PERFECT!!!
Once we got back from the bike ride, we made lunch, then headed outside to the pool and then over to the playground. We were able to soak up some sun, spend some time with one another, and enjoy being outside.
Monday night our friend Corey joined us. The boys went up into the canyon and shot the guns. They had a great time and when they got back we ate spaghetti, had a few drinks, watched a movie, and hung out.
Tuesday we decided we wanted to go on a hike. I had remembered Minnetonka caves were near the lake, so we piled in the car and decided we would go for a hike. Once we got up to the caves, we got out, went over and were shocked to find out we would have to wait for a tour and they only accepted cash or checks. So...we let Carter play for a little bit then headed back down. We finally just pulled off the side of the road and took a short walk and enjoyed the scenery.
Tuesday afternoon, Corey and Dustin headed back to Salt Lake City leaving me and Carter to fend for ourselves for another day before the next group of company came up. Carter and I spent the afternoon playing with bubbles and hanging out. That night we walked over to the store where I bought us an ice cream, watched Carter play, enjoyed the beautiful evening, and I read blogs. It was a very relaxing night!
Wednesday morning Carter and I woke up and he ate some cereal. I straightened up the condo, did the dishes, tried to make sure everything that had dairy on it had been cleaned, due to my nephews allergies, and hung out with my boy. In the afternoon we went to the pool for a little while, then the weather went sour so we came back. Carter napped and I finished my book. That evening my mom, my sisters, and my grandmother joined me for the remainder of the trip. We made tacos for dinner and then quickly put kids to bed. We then drank margaritas and watched "When In Rome."
Thursday morning my mom, Jocelyn, and I went into Idaho and bought home made cinnamon rolls, and coffee. We got back to the condo, made breakfast, and relaxed. We eventually got into our swimsuits and headed for the pool. Colin wanted to build sandcastles, so S took her kids out to the sand and we shortly followed headed for the pool. However, once Carter saw Colin in the sand, the pool quickly became a past idea, and the sandbox won!
However, due to the coldness outside, we didn't stay out to long before we found we needed to head back in. The kids napped, mom, S, and grandma went to Paris... and Jocelyn and I hung...and slept a little ourselves.
That evening the kids played, spaghetti was made, and quite a bit of packing was completed.
Friday morning Jocelyn and I left by 7. I had to be to work as soon as I could, so we called it early and drove home. It was a nice ride and fun to have some time with her before she left. A huge THANK YOU to my Aunt and Uncle for giving us the opportunity of the get away...we LOVED IT!!!
