Yesterday was a perfect day! It is the kind of day people are supposed to have in July! It was full of water, sunscreen, tubing, laughter, and friends. It truly was the kind of day you always want more of. It is the kind of day that reminds you exactly what summer is for!
The Beazer clan met us at the in-laws house about 11:00 Saturday morning. We packed the coolers, made sure we had swim diapers and sunscreen, and then headed over to Hyrum dam.
Once we launched the boat, we headed to a corner to blow up the tube and get life-jackets fitted for everyone. There all the sudden was a Jameson emergency, that caused a boat load of chuckles, and then we were ready to get the boat going.
During the adult rides all of the babies either got in the lake or on the tubes with their daddy's. They weren't quite sure about the tube, but seemed to relax once they began.
We docked at the beach, for an hour, where we ate lunch and another group took the boat. We sat and talked, kids played in the lake, and we soaked up some sun. When the boat came back the serious boating began, and the tubing tricks were on.
Doug, Brein, Dustin, and I all had time on the tubes alone. Bre and I weren't very brave, and the Doug and Dustin were out of control brave. They both had a couple INCREDIBLE rides, and had some amazing falls. Brein's facial expressions, her first time out, were priceless, and had the rest of us rolling. I enjoyed my ride, but wasn't being brave enough to get to stay out to long without a husband of mine getting fussy. Brein and I then went on the tube together and laughed and giggled the entire time. It was so fun!
After the boat was out of the water, tank filled, and everything cleaned up, we went our seperate ways for the next couple hours. Everyone got showered, dressed for a night out, and then met back up at about 7:45.
We enjoyed a nice night out, as two couples minus three children. We enjoyed some tasty Indian Food, and then went to a movie, "Inception." Dustin and I slept off and on through it and maybe, I even snored a little...maybe!
We had such a great day, thank you to the Beazer Family for the out, and we are looking forward to the next big adventure!
