Christmas 2010

This Christmas was wonderful! So many things made it one of the best Christmas's ever for our Lil Adams Family.

The obvious would be we were with our families and together. The next obvious is we were in our own home, and that made it that much better!

We woke up around 8:00 am and started making breakfast. I put a log in the fireplace, turned on the angel, and got some-what ready.
At 9:30 my parents and Joc and Chris showed up. I showed Dad and Kel the house, since they had not yet seen it, then we ate breakfast. Dustin had made a fabulous quiche, and then we had fruit and juice.

We eventually got around to unveiling Santa's gifts. We had come down early and covered Santa's presents' so Carter wouldn't be tempted to look. As soon as we took off the sheet, he went straight for Buzz, and the presents were on. Carter had so much fun opening presents and seeing what Santa brought.

About 12:00 everyone had left and we decided to kind of relax. I took a short nap and the boys watched Avatar, the Last Airbender. About 1:30 Dustin's parents and Mandy showed up. They brought more gifts and spoiled us all! They hung out for a little over an hour, and then continued on their day.

We then just spent the day together. I think this was the first time in over 15 years I didn't have a million places to go, and it was so nice to have people come to us. We were truly able to relax and enjoy the day.

We ended the evening at Mandy's for a spaghetti dinner. It was delicious and nice to spend a little more time with some of Dustin's family. We ended the evening visiting Nathan and spending some time with the Roll family. It just wouldn't be Christmas without seeing Nathan!

This Christmas was truly amazing and we feel so very blessed!

A list of some of Carter's bigger presents to remember for the year:

Sesame Street reader and books
Buzz Lightyear bedding and toy figure
Tickle Me Elmo
Clothes
Sesame Street walkman, cd, and music
