Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve this year was different, but very nice. Jocelyn and Chris were supposed to arrive in to Salt Lake at 8:00 am, but were late getting to the airport and were not able to board there plane. So they didn't get in until 2. We were supposed to host a Nelson breakfast, but with the plane being missed, the breakfast was cancelled.

Dustin and I picked up Jocelyn and Chris at 2, and as we were pulling into the airport, we were listening to "So this is Christmas" and I couldn't help but feel emotional picking up my sis and brother in law. It really made it feel so much like Christmas.

We then went over to my mom's to celebrate Christmas with her and Garry, S and Bri, Joc and Chris, and Our Lil Adams Family.

Mom and Garry spoiled all of us, and the kids loved the time together. We all received such nice presents and enjoyed one anothers company.

They then fed us prime rib, potatoes, beans, rolls, and dessert. It was delicious and fun. The kids were so excited for Santa, and so were the adults...let's be honest.

We then gave one another loves goodnight and headed home.

Once we got home, Carter opened his Christmas Eve jammies and then we read, "T'was The Night Before Christmas." I think I am going to make that a tradition, I loved it. We took pictures, tucked Peanut in, and got ready for Christmas.

It was a great day and everyone was SO excited for Santa Claus to come to The Adams Family home!
